24 hour Brown Butter Chocolate chunk Cookies
These aren't your Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookies. The dough starts with brown butter which gives it a slightly nutty taste to balance the sweetness of the cookies. I took the time to find the best ingredients from flour to vanilla and of course the chocolate. These cookies have gorgeous chunks of chocolate that are hand-chopped to give a variety of little flecks of chocolate to big hunks. They are slightly crispy on the outside and nice and goey on the inside. Best of all the dough is chilled for 24 hours to improve the flavor and texture of the cookies.

about
Carly Fries
As a young teen, I was obsessed with all things related to food and baking. I would wrestle with my brothers for the TV remote and change it to The Food Network to watch the talented pastry chefs make incredible cakes and displays. However, my favorite memories always surrounded family gatherings, birthdays, or other celebrations. I know that we all have special family members who would make recipes for special celebrations that everyone would look forward to. As I came into adulthood I realized that creating memories around food was one thing I was good at. During the pandemic, I took the time to level up my cooking and baking skills. Once it was safe to have friends over I would host dinners, birthdays, engagement parties, BBQs, soup parties, and even an entire brunch centered around avocado toast. There is nothing I love more than making a delicious meal and sharing it with friends and family that I love. I decided after many years of cooking and baking for friends it was time to share with the larger community. I am not here to just make cookies but to give you a memorable treat to share at your next gathering or celebration. I know hosting events can be a big undertaking and I just want to be a small piece of that. I can't wait to make some homemade treats for you and your family.
With Love,
